2. Who can enter

  • Entrants must be 18 or over and live in the UK.
  • Our staff and their households can't enter.
  • We may ask the winner for proof of age and identity before handing over the prize.

3. How to enter

  • Each competition has a skill question. Answer it, choose how many tickets you want, and pay for them.
  • Each person gives one answer per competition. All your tickets for that competition carry the same answer.
  • Only tickets with the correct answer are entered into the draw. Tickets with a wrong answer aren't entered and aren't refunded, so please read the question carefully.
  • Each competition has a maximum number of tickets and a maximum per person, shown on its page. Entries close at the time shown, or earlier if all tickets are taken.
  • Tickets are paid for by card, through our payment provider SumUp, when you enter. Tickets aren't in the draw until they're paid for. Unpaid tickets may be cancelled before the draw.

4. The draw

  • After the competition closes, one winning ticket is picked at random from every paid ticket with the correct answer, using a computer's secure random number generator.
  • We publish the winning ticket number and the winner's first name and last initial on the competition page, along with the list of tickets in the draw.
  • We contact the winner by email (and phone, if given) within 7 days. If we can't reach them within 14 days of the draw, we may redraw.

5. The prize

  • The prize is described on the competition page. Live coral photos show the coral or species; the prize may differ slightly in size and colour.
  • Shipping is included: we send the prize free by next-day tracked delivery to the winner's address anywhere in the UK. We can only ship to UK addresses. There's no cash alternative, and the prize can't be transferred.
  • If the prize becomes unavailable (for example, the coral is lost), we'll offer a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Cancelling a competition

If we have to cancel a competition, we'll refund every paid ticket in full.

7. Your information

We use your details to run the competition and contact the winner, as set out in our privacy policy. By entering, the winner agrees to their first name, last initial and ticket number being published.

8. Law

These rules are governed by Scots law. Questions or complaints go to [email protected].
